Deb is a former Senior A fastpitch player who was an active player in the lower mainland for 35 years and is currently head coach for the New West Kaos Women’s A team, where she was a pitcher for about 17 years.
Deb completed a college career at Sacred Heart University in Connecticut from 1984-88, where she was a 4 time All-American.
Deb was a member of the 1987 National Team and went to the Pan America Games where her team won Bronze.
In 2009 she was inducted into the Connecticut Collegiate and scholastic Hall of Fame.
In 2010 Deb became a member of the Softball BC Hall of Fame, receiving the Athlete of Distinction Award .
Kate Hourihane is in her second year playing softball at Douglas College and has played softball as a pitcher for 14 years. She has received the Northwest Athletic Conference Second Team Utility Award and ended the season as an All-American Scholar Athlete.

Ashley Nugent has played Fastpitch for over 10 years, playing her minor ball with Ridge Meadows and Langley Extreme ’05 and now is pitching for Douglas College Royals. Once that season is over, she will be continuing to play in the Fraser Delta Women’s League.
